Dr. Sommayeh Jafarali

Dr. Somayyeh Jafarali Jassbi was born in 1982 and holds an MSc degree in computer architecture engineering, which she obtained in 2007. In 2010, she earned her Ph.D. degree in computer architecture engineering. Since then, she has been a valuable member of the Department of Computer Engineering at Azad University Science and Research Branch. Her dedication and contributions led to her promotion as an associate professor in 2011.

With a keen interest in cutting-edge technologies, her expertise spans across various domains, including machine learning, AI applications, cloud computing, the Internet of Things, and wireless sensor networks. Over the years, she served as the head of the computer department, exhibiting exemplary leadership skills.

Moreover, she actively participated in the young researcher club, starting in 2004, and has been deeply involved in research, publishing numerous professional books and papers in her field.

Recently, Somayyeh has undertaken remarkable projects in the field of AI and health, with a focus on cancer research. Her work has been acknowledged with distinguished papers and awards, showcasing her dedication and innovation in the field.
